가을/배 중진

 

벼는 익을수록 고개를 숙이고
인간 또한 나이가 들수록 생각이 많아 절로 고개를 늘인다

 

봄날의 발랄한 생기는 절로 무르익어 시간이 흐를수록 아름다워지며
가을이 되니 오곡이 풍성하여 풍요한 생활을 누리게도 한다

 

너와 나 세상을 사랑하고 배려하면
하늘도 석양 되어 황홀감을 안겨준다

8월의 마지막 날입니다.
이제 본격적인 가을이네요.

나라 상황이 어지러워도 건강한 가을,
즐거운 가을, 행복한 가을 되시기 바랍니다.
풍성한 결실도 거두시고요.

 

잠깐 미국과 북한 간에 서로를 점검하는 계기였지 싶고 타협할 것도 없었고
중재할 것도 없었던 시간이 지났지 싶습니다. 다시 원점으로 돌아가 상대를
완전히 파악한 상태에서 어떻게 서로를 향해 소리를 지를지 그것이 궁금하기만
하답니다. 애당초부터 맞지 않는 것을 조율하려고 노력은 했지만 미국의 상대가
되지 않는 북한의 김정은이지 싶습니다. 저는 트럼프의 재선이 확실한 후에
북한에 변화가 생기고 한반도에 전운이 감돌지도 모른다는 생각이지요.
그때까지는 북한의 목줄을 조여나가야 합니다. 지금 남한의 분열 상태는 극에
달했고 서로 죽이지 못해 살아가는데 한민족이라고 칭하기도 두려울 지경이지요.
매일 데모나 하고 촛불 시위나 하다가 세계 경제가 수렁에 빠지면 같이 허우적거릴
것이 분명합니다. 무역전쟁이 심각해지고 중공과 일본이 어려워지면서 한국도
예외에서 벗어날 수 없겠지요. 혜안이 필요할 때입니다. 즐거운 명절이 되시기 바랍니다.

American Revolutionary soldier Nathan Hale receives his instructions from General Washington to spy
behind the British lines. In 1776, he volunteered to penetrate the British lines on Long Island to gather
intelligence for Washington. He was captured and hanged as a spy by the British in New York City.

1962: Rod Laver achieves calendar Grand Slam

Aussie tennis legend Rod Laver completes the calendar-year Grand Slam (winning all four major
tournaments in the same year) when he defeated fellow Australian Roy Emerson in the US Open
final (then known as U.S. National Championships). The second man to achieve the feat since
Don Budge in 1938, Laver is the only one who completed the feat twice, in 1962 and 1969.
